After everything I’ve been through over the last four months, I feel a huge disconnect between my business and clients. Going through the motions is always easier said than done. Feeling as though we need to rebuild from scratch can be intensely overwhelming, and instead of feeling courageously more than conquerors (as God says we are), it’s so easy to feel downtrodden, forgotten, and lost.

During the course of my rebuilding—Phase 1—I began feeling as though I needed to deepen my relationship with the wellness spectrum of Heaven’s Door. I then came across Thrive, a lifestyle practice offering Access Bars Training to wellness practitioners. This was enough to excite me, so I decided to sign up for the course and get going with deepening my passion for holistic wellness.

This, however, meant I would be distracted from my passion for beauty while I focused on my passion for wellness. It meant I needed to visit my wellness practitioner, Wendy, to better understand my own personal wellness journey while making better choices for a healthier, more intriguing path of well-being.

Because most of my clients are drawn in by my beauty services, I noticed how business slowed down, and this was not okay for me. I began missing my clients terribly, longing for our general catch-ups during our drawn-out massage, nail, waxing, and facial treatments. I missed the time spent with clients I’ve grown to love over the years. It’s now safe to say that I’m learning to integrate beauty and wellness into my life as the two paths become one.

I’ve had to move the salon and home twice over the last few months, and with all the craziness in between, I had to fight to hold onto my sanity while pushing through the challenges of life. I can now proudly say I’ve made it through, and I’m 200% ready for this new chapter life has to offer.

As a Beauty Therapist and an up-and-coming Wellness Practitioner, I ask you to spread the name and practices of Heaven’s Door far and wide. I not only cherish the beautifully cheerful relationships I have with my existing clients, but I strive each day to invite new clients into the warm and welcoming space I have created—a place where each client can just be themselves, kick back, relax, and enjoy a time and treatment dedicated to their inner and outer beauty, as well as their well-being.

Heaven’s Door Beauty and Wellness has been around for a wonderful three years now, and what I’ve realized more than ever is that without my clients, my business wouldn’t be as successful as it is today. Thank you to each and every client who has seen me through the highs and lows. Thank you to each and every client who has shown love and appreciation in both big and small ways. You all make my heart beat that much louder, filled with an immeasurable amount of love, gratitude, and compassion.

Loving you dearly,
Kayla Evans
